PVHardware is looking for an Structural Engineering Manager to ensure that the tracker structures are designed, analyzed, and optimized to withstand extreme environmental and operational conditions, ensuring the stability, durability, and efficiency of the products in the photovoltaic sector. PVH - PVHardware is a provider of innovative solar tracking solutions for the general utility-scale solar market, including trackers, fixed structures and SCADA system. Yet, we are the third largest solar tracker supplier in the world and aiming to be the leader in the industry!
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer/ Industrial Engineer specializing in Structural Calculation or similar. Masters' degree is prefered.
5+ years experience in the similar position is highly prefered.
Experience in leadership position roles is highly preferred.
Experience in the solar tracking sector and in the calculation of structures is highly preferred.
Management of finite element calculation software Ansys, Abaqus, Consteel.
Basic AutoCAD experience is highly preferred.
ANSYS, CATIA and Advanced Consteel
Experience with Microsoft Office is highly preferred. Responsibilities:
Structural Analysis: Perform analysis and simulations of the tracker structures to ensure their strength and stability under various conditions (wind, load, ground movement, etc.).
Design Optimization: Propose design improvements to optimize material usage, reduce costs, and enhance tracker performance.
Calculations and Validations: Perform structural calculations and validations to ensure that the structures meet international standards and technical project requirements.
Collaboration with Engineering Team:
Work closely with the design and production engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of structural designs in the manufacturing of trackers.
Material Testing and Evaluation: Participate in selecting appropriate materials for the structures, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost.
Technical Documentation Management: Generate and maintain technical documentation related to structural analysis, reports, and necessary certifications.
Quality Control: Ensure that the structures meet established quality standards and that manufacturing processes align with structural requirements.
Project Management: Participate in the planning and coordination of projects related to the design and structural analysis of photovoltaic trackers.
Risk Evaluation: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the structures, proposing solutions and improvements to ensure reliability and safety. Our Values:
