Our retail client is seeking an experienced Workday Product Owner / Functional Lead to support an enterprise-wide Workday Expense implementation. Acting as the client-side functional lead, this consultant will work closely with a leading integral consulting and professional services firm to drive a critical project currently in SIT and preparing for UAT, deployment, and a future global rollout. Responsibilities

Serve as the client-side Product Owner for the Workday Expense implementation.

Work closely with a leading Workday implementation partner and act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the implementation team.

Lead activities across SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization.

Review functional designs, configurations, testing results, and ensure alignment with business requirements.

Manage backlog prioritization, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and implementation risks.

Coordinate with business, technical, QA, and project teams to support delivery and future global deployments. Requirements

Hands-on experience with Workday Expense implementations.

Experience as a Product Owner, Functional Lead, Business Lead, or Solution Lead.





Strong knowledge of Workday business processes and functional configuration.

Experience working with Workday implementation partners.

Experience supporting SIT, UAT, go-live, and stabilization activities.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Must Haves

Active Workday certification(s).

Workday Financial Management and/or Workday Expense Certification preferred.

Experience with Oracle Financials integrations.

Experience working in Agile environments alongside Scrum Masters and technical teams.
