We're Hiring: Regional Commodity Buyer – Electrical/Mechatronic

Are you an experienced purchasing professional with a passion for the automotive industry?

Join GRAMMER and become part of our Supply Chain Management Team , where you'll play a key role in developing sourcing strategies, driving cost savings, and building strong supplier partnerships across the Americas.

What You'll Do

- Lead annual supplier negotiations to achieve and exceed cost-saving targets.

- Develop and execute regional commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Build and manage a high-performing supplier base focused on quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.

- Drive supplier relationship management, contract management, and sourcing activities.

- Analyze market trends, benchmark suppliers, and identify cost optimization opportunities.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and cross-functional teams to implement VA/VE initiatives and support new product launches.

- Manage RFQs, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and purchasing activities to ensure on-time program execution.





- Present supplier innovations and implement commercially and technically viable solutions.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Global Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.

- Automotive purchasing experience with Electrical/Mechatronic commodities .

- Proven success leading supplier negotiations and delivering cost savings.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with cost analysis and cost breakdowns.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word .

- Knowledge of Project Management , Supplier Quality Procedures , and SAP (preferred).

- Experience working in a global, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.

- Data-driven mindset with strong KPI management.

- Excellent Business English .
