Key Responsibilities Improve
sand casting / iron casting
processes and production yield. Troubleshoot casting defects such as
porosity, NCU, core shift, over-grinding, inclusions, and dimensional issues
. Conduct
process audits
and ensure foundry process controls are followed. Analyze
production, scrap, yield, and defect trends
using data-driven methods. Work with
complex core assemblies, material flow, and production tracking
. Analyze machining feedback and
Pareto defect maps
to identify foundry root causes. Lead 8 D, Root Cause Analysis, DOE, CAPA, and continuous improvement
activities. Understand
casting drawings, machining drawings, CAD models, GD&T;, and specifications
. Support new product
validation, process development, and production ramp-up
. Drive improvements in
yield, throughput, quality, and production efficiency
. Communicate effectively in
English and Spanish
