Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Application Engineer to serve as a critical technical liaison between our customers, sales teams, and internal engineering functions. This role is responsible for understanding complex customer applications, recommending optimal product solutions, and delivering technical training to ensure successful implementation.

The idóneo candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with excellent communication skills and thrives in a customer-facing, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, supporting product selection and application development

Evaluate customer requirements and recommend optimal solutions tailored to performance, cost, and manufacturability

Deliver technical training and product education to customers and internal stakeholders

Partner closely with sales teams to support business development and customer engagement efforts

Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with production capabilities

Support troubleshooting and problem-solving for critical customer applications

Participate in on-site customer visits, trials, and validation activities

Provide feedback to engineering and leadership on market needs, product gaps, and innovation opportunities





Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, requirements, and solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline (required)

5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in application engineering, product engineering, or customer-facing technical roles

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and product applications

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

High level of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork

Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a remote or field-based environment

Additional Requirements

Fluent in English and Spanish (required)

Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more, including regular international travel

Valid passport and ability to travel globally

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with manufacturing or production environments

Background in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles

MBA or advanced degree (optional, not required)
