Company Description Departamento Ingeniería Industrial Campus QRO is an academic unit dedicated to teaching, research, and industry collaboration in the field of industrial engineering. Role Description The Professor of Industrial Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based at Campus QRO in Querétaro, QUE. The professor will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in industrial engineering, prepare syllabi and course materials, deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and supervise laboratory and project work. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising students, mentoring them on academic and professional development, evaluating assignments and exams, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role also involves conducting research, publishing scholarly work, participating in curriculum development,



and contributing to departmental committees and initiatives. In addition, the professor is expected to engage with industry and the broader community through collaborations, outreach, and continuous improvement of academic programs.
Qualifications

- Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field (PhD preferred; master’s degree considered with strong professional experience).
- Demonstrated expertise in core industrial engineering areas such as operations management, process improvement, systems modeling, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Experience in university-level teaching, including course design, classroom instruction, and student assessment.
- Proven ability to conduct research, publish in peer-reviewed venues, and participate in academic or applied projects.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse student populations in an inclusive environment.
- Capacity to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to departmental service, and build relationships with industry and community partners.
- Professional experience in industrial engineering practice or consulting is an asset.
- Proficiency in English and/or Spanish as required for teaching and institutional communication.
