This role ensures the continuous operational efficiency and safety of our manufacturing and maintenance facilities.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on various workshop appliances including, but not limited to, lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, welding equipment, presses, and hydraulic systems.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in workshop machinery and tools using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic equipment.Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of worn or defective parts, components, and assemblies for all workshop equipment.Fabricate or modify parts as needed using various machining and welding techniques.Conduct calibration and testing of tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including LOTO procedures, while performing duties.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new workshop machinery and equipment.Provide technical support and guidance to workshop personnel regarding equipment operation and minor troubleshooting.Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains related to workshop tooling and equipment.Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical, industrial, or electromechanical maintenance strongly preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic or technician in an industrial or manufacturing workshop environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
