**Zscaler Administrator (L3)**
**Location**: Mexico (CDMX, Guadalajara, Monterrey)

**Role Summary**
We are looking for a highly skilled **Zscaler Administrator (L3)** to lead the design, administration, and optimization of Zscaler platforms, including ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) and ZPA (Zscaler Private Access).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor Zscaler dashboards, alerts, and platform health
- Manage and optimize ZIA, ZPA, and related modules such as ZDX
- Design, implement, and maintain security policies aligned with business requirements
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues (SSL inspection, web access, performance)
- Analyze logs, packet captures, and proxy traces for advanced incident resolution
- Configure and maintain forward proxy, GRE/IPsec tunnels, and Zscaler App (Z App) deployments
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate with vendors (Zscaler Support) for escalations and defect tracking
- Lead configuration audits, including admin roles, API usage, and security controls
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) for high-impact changes
- Develop and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and documentation
- Oversee severity-1 incidents and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Drive automation initiatives (scripting, Infrastructure-as-Code)
- Lead projects such as ZPA segmentation, general ZIA deployments, and proxy migrations
- Perform capacity planning and license optimization




- Review and enhance security posture (SSL inspection, DLP, policy enforcement)
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and support knowledge transfer activities
**Required Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in network security or cloud security roles
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
- Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
- Deep understanding of networking concepts:
- TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Proxy technologies
- Experience with:
- SSL inspection
- Policy management and tuning
- Log analysis and troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of GRE/IPsec tunnels and secure access architectures
- Experience in incident management, RCA, and SLA-driven environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
**Nice to Have**
- Experience with ZDX or other Zscaler modules
- Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with automation or Infrastructure-as-Code
- Background in Zero Trust architecture
- ITIL Foundation or similar certifications
