**Department Leader**:
Take on the challenge of transforming the Business Unit at Ecatepec: lead with vision, develop talent, and elevate results through TPM, discipline, and teamwork.
**About the Role**:
This role is a key leadership position within our manufacturing operations, responsible for driving results.
You will lead the implementation of TPM and continuous improvement systems, develop team capability, and foster a culture of safety and collaboration.
Your mission is to transform processes and people to achieve operational excellence.
**What You Will Do**:
- Responsible for development of the organizational capability to get the expected results and provide leadership, direction setting and coaching for their department.
- Responsible for the fulfillment of the maintenance plan (including cost)
- Uses internal and external benchmarks to drive performance improvement.
- Contributes to the achievement of the plant's CBN and communicate it to the department.
- Develop department objectives aligned with site and unit needs and cascade Essity goals down to the teams
- Ensures the department delivers required production orders according to spec, in time and on cost.
- Ensures department works to standards (Safety, Quality).




- Accountable for the Department's Operational Budget
- Identify CAPEX needs to support midterm plans.
- Accountable for Performance Management process and responsible for consequence management within their department.
**Who You Are**:
You are an experienced manufacturing leader, with knowledge of Six Sigma, capable of managing teams of up to 50 unionized and non-unionized employees.
You define clear ways of working, develop team capability through TPM and continuous improvement, and coach problem-solving while eliminating losses.
You balance technical expertise with strong people management and lead by example in Safety
