**SENIOR HARDWARE ENGINEER - BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM**
Location Tlaquepaque, Mexico

**YOUR ROLE**
As a Senior Hardware Engineer in Battery Management Systems (BMS) for energy management, you will lead the development of advanced electronic components that support key automotive trends such as electrification and environmental sustainability.
You will collaborate across disciplines including Mechanical Design, Software, Testing, and Systems Engineering to deliver robust, innovative solutions.
**YOUR TASKS**
- Define and develop hardware architecture for energy management systems, ensuring scalability and compliance with automotive standards.
- Design electronic concepts supported by Worst Case Analysis, DFMEA, and electronic/thermal simulations.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Designers and PCB Layout Engineers to define and optimize PCB concepts.
- Lead hardware development activities throughout the automotive project lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO *****) and EMC requirements.




- Conduct design reviews and ensure documentation meets internal and customer standards.
- Interface with cross-functional teams and customers to align technical requirements and resolve issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the hardware team.
- Support supplier selection and technical evaluation of components.
- Drive continuous improvement in hardware development processes and tools.
**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware development, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven experience in at least two full-cycle automotive hardware development projects.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, battery management systems, and automotive-grade components.
- Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO *****, ASPICE, and AEC-Q100/Q200.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, PSpice) and PCB design tools (e.g., Cadence).
- Understanding of EMC design principles and testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (Advanced level required).
