**Accountant SR**
EW Nutrition We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts process, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and contributing to process improvements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, verification, and payment.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policy and accounting processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements related to accounts payable.
- Analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and legal, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Act as a point of contact for vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
**Qualifications**:




- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to act and operate independently with mínimal daily direction from manager/supervisor to accomplish objectives.
- Effective communication in English/Spanish and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus.
