This role will take ownership of implementing a new PIM/DAM system, building data foundations, and creating structured processes across fragmented systems.
You will work closely with leadership to bring clarity, consistency, and scalability to product and operational data.
This is not a purely strategic role.
You are expected to be hands-on, execute independently, and help shape better processes by challenging the current way of working.Key Responsibilities:Own and lead the implementation of the Catsy PIM/DAM system from setup to adoptionDefine and manage product data structures, including taxonomy, metadata, and standardsEstablish data governance frameworks, including data quality, accuracy, consistency, and workflowsCreate and document scalable processes across data, systems, and operationsManage and support integrations across systems, including PIM/DAM, NetSuite, SPS Commerce,



and ShopifyOwn and maintain the single source of truth for product and operational dataIdentify inefficiencies and implement automation to reduce manual processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into systemsSupport discussions around order management, data flow, and system architectureTrain internal users and drive adoption of new systems and processesTroubleshoot data issues and continuously improve data accuracy and workflowsSoftware/Platforms/Tools:Catsy or similar PIM/DAM platformsNetSuite or similar ERP systemsSPS Commerce (EDI) or similar middlewareShopify or similar eCommerce platformsAPI-based integrations working knowledgeGoogle Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and DriveSlack and Zoom for communicationProject management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or similarSpreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets or ExcelQualifications:4 to 7+ years of freelancing or remote work experience3 to 6+ years of experience in Master Data, Data Operations, PIM/DAM, or similar rolesStrong understanding of data structures, data governance, and system integrationsExperience working with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, preferred but not requiredAbility to work independently in unstructured environments with minimal documentationStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge and improve processesExcellent written and verbal English communication at C1 or C2 levelHighly organized with strong time management and prioritization skillsAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on executionNice to have:Experience implementing PIM/DAM systems from scratchExperience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer goods environmentsFamiliarity with order management systems and system-of-record frameworksExperience supporting change management and system adoptionExposure to automation tools or workflow optimizationShift ScheduleMonday to Friday, overlap with US PST working hours required.
