This is a client-facing, hands-on role: you'll visit customers on-site, understand their engineering challenges, and recommend the right components and solutions.
You will support the sales team as the technical expert in client conversations — not act as the primary salesperson.
Your role is to bridge the gap between engineering and sales, ensuring customers get the right technical guidance while the sales team drives the commercial relationship.ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site visits to clients and prospects to provide technical consultation and supportIdentify customer needs and recommend appropriate electronic components and solutionsAct as the technical support for the sales team during client visits and proposals — providing engineering expertise,
not leading the commercial negotiationBuild and maintain strong relationships with engineering and procurement contacts at key accountsPrepare technical proposals, quotations, and product recommendationsRepresent Zephyr Technologies at client meetings, industry events, and technical reviewsProvide first-level technical support to customers throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with internal engineering teams on component selection and validationManage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneouslyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role, field engineering, or technical sales supportSolid understanding of electronic components and general design principlesComfortable engaging directly with clients and managing relationships independentlyWorking knowledge of PCB design, embedded systems, or IoT is a plus (not required)Strong commercial acumen — comfortable supporting sales cycles and technical conversationsAdvanced English proficiency (B2+); Spanish requiredAvailability to travel within Mexico and occasionally internationallyExcellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersSelf-driven, organized, and comfortable working with minimal supervisionBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience (range: (agregar aquí))5 personal days per year (in addition to statutory vacation)Major medical insurance (SGMM)Gym membership supportPsychology/mental health support coverage (1 year)Cell phone allowance (50%)
