As a
Real Estate Data Intern
, you'll join MSCI's
Real Assets Data
team, where you'll contribute to the creation of industry-leading real estate performance indexes, benchmarks, and analytics used by global investors, asset managers, and asset owners.
This internship offers hands‐on experience with real estate data, market intelligence, client engagement, and innovative technologies—including AI‐powered tools to help shape the future of real‐estate investment analysis.

What You'll Do
Contribute to the production of real estate performance indexes, benchmarks, analytical reports, and bespoke client solutions.
Research and monitor commercial real estate transactions by tracking industry news, public sources, and third‐party data providers.
Support the management of a portfolio of real estate funds and/or clients by ensuring the accuracy and quality of investment data.
Investigate and resolve client data inquiries while applying established data methodologies and quality standards.
Deliver customized analyses and insights to meet specific client needs.
Collaborate with global and local teams to maintain strong working relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
Participate in key projects, meeting milestones and contributing to successful team outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and drive operational efficiency.




Apply analytical thinking and problem‐solving skills to enhance data quality and optimize team processes.
Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and support smarter decision‐making.
What We're Looking For
A strong interest in real estate, financial markets, or investment data.
Availability to work for
30 or 40 hours per week.
We're seeking students who are available for a
9–12 month internship
, providing enough time to build expertise, take ownership of projects, and grow alongside our team.
Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Comfort working with data and technology; experience with Excel is preferred.
Interest in using AI tools to improve workflows and enhance productivity.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
is required.
Preferably from 6th semester onward.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong foundational knowledge of
accounting and finance
is required.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
is essential; working knowledge of
Python and/or VBA
is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and attention‐to-detail skills, with the ability to work accurately with large datasets.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and improve workflows.
