This is ahands‐on, platform‐focused rolefor someone who knows Power BI inside and out and enjoys making complex systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.You'll be responsible for day‐to‐day tenant administration, governance, performance optimization, and automation.

Power BI Platform AdministrationMonitor and manage Power BI capacity, performance, and resource utilisationEnforce governance standards for workspaces, datasets, and tenant settingsAnalyse capacity usage, logs, and alerts to identify issues and optimisation opportunitiesBuild custom monitoring dashboards using SQL, REST APIs, and scriptsAutomate administrative tasks and bulk actions using Power Shell or similar toolsIdentify cost‐saving opportunities and recommend improvements to leadershipSupport Power BI deployments via Azure Dev Ops and troubleshoot pipeline issuesUser & Operational SupportManage user access, roles, permissions, and licensingTroubleshoot refresh, performance,



and access issuesPartner with IT and business teams on onboarding and off‐boardingOptimization & ReliabilityMonitor service health and respond to incidents impacting reports or data accessImprove report and dataset performance using best practices in modelling, refresh strategies, and Power QueryMaintain accurate documentation for audits and complianceCreate and maintain Power BI governance documentation, user guides, and FAQsPartner with data engineers, architects, and analysts to document workflows and standardsLead user training sessions to drive adoption and best practicesContinuously improve documentation and training materials as the platform evolvesWhat You Bring3–5 years of hands‐on Power BI administration experienceProven experience supporting Power BI at enterprise scaleStrong SQL skills and experience working with REST APIsPower Shell or scripting experience for automation and bulk operationsDeep understanding of Power BI governance, capacity management, and performance tuningExperience with Azure Dev Ops pipelines and deployment troubleshootingSolid knowledge of data modelling, ETL concepts, and cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)Strong problem‐solving skills and clear communicationPower BI and/or Azure certifications are a plusThis is adedicated Power BI administration role.
