Establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business Leadership for your assigned commodity / category and/or region as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have general/regional Responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will manage Supplier Performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in a dynamic global environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- Comply with Resideo policies and guidelines.
- Support Resideo Global sites in designated region for the Metals commodity.
- Assess the suppliers in designated region and establish and assign strategic direction.
- Negotiate terms with the suppliers to extract greatest value to business.
- Negotiate SSA with suppliers.
- Conduct pricing reviews based on market and commodity trends and establish lowest cost YOY for business.
- Conduct market analysis of the assigned region and recommend actions based on the results of the analysis.
- Negotiate and establish shortest lead times and highest quality requirements with the suppliers.
- Conduct Spend analysis and recommend supplier rationalization action plans with a goal to reduce YOY supplier count
- Collaborate with other team members as well as stakeholders globally to realize YOY cost savings, lead time reduction and improvement in quality.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with suppliers.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely completion of CE/VE projects.
- Identify,
prepare business case and promote new CE/VE projects as well as other productivity projects.
- Participate in the AOP and yearly budget and set the goals for the assigned region.
- Conduct investigations and surveys to identify new suppliers in the region who can provide value to the business.
- Provide tactical support to Resideo sites to ensure continuity of supply.
- Conduct comprehensive Supply and Supplier Risk Analysis on suppliers in assigned region and recommend corrective actions.
- Spearhead and implement commodities strategies in the assigned region.
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Bachelors Degree ( Engineering or Science)
- 1-2 years of experience and knowledge of sourcing Raw Metals, manufacturing process
- Minimum 2 years of knowledge of local market conditions and trends
- Minimum 2 years of experience with pricing trends and cost analysis
- Minimum 3 years of negotiation skills
- Minimum 2 years of data mining and analytical skills
