As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and supporting essential web services for the financial ecosystem. This involves considering both functional and non-functional requirements, collaborating closely with other teams to evolve these services in line with our technological vision. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting other software engineers, demonstrating your ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve established goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Your primary task will be to understand the underlying nature of the challenges that arise.
- Design and implement effective solutions to address these challenges.
- Develop software that contributes to achieving team and business objectives.
- Resolve technical issues, correct errors, and intervene in incidents.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential risks.
- Promote and support best practices within the team.
- Take on a mentoring and support role for other Software Engineers.
- Ensure the team maintains a clear focus on project objectives.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the field of software engineering.
- Solid technical knowledge in programming is required.




- Essential to have a deep understanding of the principles that make up quality code.
- Fundamental mastery of relational databases.
- Experience with at least one database engine.
- Ability to integrate, design, and build APIs.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining software products in production environments.
- Knowledge of at least one architectural pattern (e.g., MVC).
- Track record of success in delivering solutions that have required multiple iterations.
- Ability to consider non-functional requirements from the early stages of design.
- Ability to balance business, product, and technological considerations when making decisions.
- Experience in microservices architecture.
- Practical knowledge of Ruby.
- Specific experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience using AWS services.
