**About the Role**
**Job** Responsibilities**
**Training and Development Resource**
- Assist in Identifying and implementing programs for training gaps and development needs to ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Ensure MA team is processing work tasks and transaction types with high degree of consistency.
- Ensure MA’s within the business unit have been cross trained and can fill in for each other and that each team member has been taught skills to move to the next level if needed.
- Provide training on AR/AP procedures and proper management of inventory to ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence to company policies.
**Workflow management** for the business unit.**
- Provide oversight and direction of workflow management and delegation to promote efficient and consistent processing, as well as coaching MA leads, if applicable, to effectively assign tasks to ensure accurate and timely completion of documents.
- Help identify training needs and develop content, team meetings, and input on staffing needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
**E**nsure all required weekly MA duties are being performed with efficiency**.**
- Look for solutions to improve efficiency and work with the trade unit manager(s) to ensure all tasks are being completed in expected amount of time.




- Ensure the MA team is meeting role expectations as provided by the trade unit manager(s) and business unit managers and troubleshooting when errors occur.
- Provide accurate and timely logistic and billing reporting. Maintain an organized filing system which includes invoices, contracts, reports and payment receipts.
- Measure the effectiveness of the MA team by assessing results and KPI’s and using these results to manage the team performance.
**Customer Service Advocate**
- Proactively ensure customer experience with Scoular accounting meets or exceeds expectations.
- Respond to escalated customer issues from MAs and Merchandisers and handle escalated issues, complex issues that are of high dollar value, involve multiple business units or are time sensitive.
- Seek out new ways to improve customer experience.
- Coach and train MA team to enhance customer service skills.
**Support the profitability of the trade unit and** c**ommunicate business position**.
- Partner with the Business Unit manager and with Finance to align on strategy and needs
- Understand the revenue generation process of the business unit and contribute ideas on how to increase administrative efficiencies, reduce risk and avoid duplication of processes.
- Share recommendations with business unit merchandisers and senior management upon request.
