Veritas Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive high school in the LS16 area to recruit multiple **S.E.N.D. Teaching Assistants** for permanent positions starting in **September**.
We are looking for committed and compassionate individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These roles are idóneo for those who want to make a lasting difference in a supportive and structured school setting.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support students with a range of SEND needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
- Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver individual support and interventions.
- Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs in a school or care setting.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
