Team Overview:
The role will be responsible for providing legal support to DiDi Food team in Mexico. This position aims to provide legal solutions on a variety of topics, with a special focus on contracts and general corporate matters. The position would be based in Mexico City and will report to the Head of Legal for Mexico Delivery & Corporate.
Role Responsibilities:
- Acting as one of the focal points for DiDi Food vertical, working closely with local teams to achieve business goals, while reducing legal risks.- Supporting the business on the negotiation, drafting and approval of commercial agreements, as well as T&C;’s for promotion campaigns and rewards.- Staying updated on developments in regulations affecting the food delivery industry (e.g., licensing, labor laws, consumer protection, technology).- Reviewing SoP’s and protocols regarding the different needs of legal services.- Working in collaboration with the Ops and Product teams to ensure that new business,



products and features are conducted in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
Role Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal experience, with a strong background on corporate matters;
- Law degree from a Mexican university;
- Legal knowledge on commercial transactions and ability to provide advice on different type agreements;
- Strong communication skills;
- Fluency in English;
- Experience on Transportation and/or Tech industries is a plus.
