Position: Hotel Development and Investment Associate
Location: Atira Hotels, 1290 N Clybourn Ave., Chicago, IL 60610
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on operational requirements.

The Investment Associate will support Atira and Paramount companies in making informed investment decisions and providing support for various business lines. This role will involve daily collaboration with firm principals, senior directors, external partners, investors, and lenders.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Atira Acquisition, Joint-Venture, and Development Projects
- Conduct Deal Sourcing Activities, including broker listings, off-market opportunities, and Paramount projects
- Perform Hotel Investment Analysis and present deal reviews to the Investment Board
- Conduct Market Research on demand drivers, supply fluctuations, economic outlooks, operational performance, and other relevant investment factors
- Assist in preparing presentations and pitch materials for new business pursuits
- Attend regional events to prospect and stay informed about industry trends
- Research hotel transactions, regional developments, and issues impacting the hotel industry
- Support asset management strategies and reporting for the existing portfolio of Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Intercontinental, and Boutique hotels.
- Conduct research to identify and solicit new equity partners
- Prepare Equity Offering Materials and coordinate communication with investors
- Prepare Debt Offering Materials and coordinate communication with lenders
- Manage Asset Management Reporting for all investments
- Supervise administrative and control team members in completing scorecard reviews, valuations, and lender compliance reporting
- Maintain the Atira Investor Dashboard and Reporting Folders
- Conduct analytical reviews for buy/sell/hold and refinance decisions for ownership
- Assist Senior Managing Directors in standardizing financials and valuation procedures for hotel portfolios
- Support the President in establishing consistent valuation metrics and templates
- Utilize compiled hotel and third-party data to generate client reporting
- Aid the President in identifying key target opportunities through transaction volume analysis in RC Analytics and transitioning these opportunities to brokers.
**Requirements**:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
- Proficient in analyzing both qualitative and quantitative information
- Capable of working effectively under pressure within a competitive environment to achieve results
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to defend viewpoints
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate
- Hotel industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
Compensation will be structured as a salary with bonus incentive opportunities.
