**LAM Operating Unit Overview**
AT-PAC Latin America encompasses Mexico, Chile, Peru, and our partners in Brazil and Argentina, with the potential to explore across other Latin American markets.
The region currently operates through two branches in Mexico, two in Chile, and two in Peru, strategically located to serve key markets, along with a combined headquarters office in Monterrey
In addition to its core rental and sales operations, AT-PAC provides engineering support,
as well as a comprehensive suite of project services and scaffolding management technologies designed to enhance efficiency and safety on job sites.
The regional management organization consists of the Regional Director, Regional Engineering Solutions, Head of Controlling Region, and Regional Business Development. At the country level, each organization is structured with a Country Manager, Head of Sales, Head of Operations, Engineering, and Finance; the latter supported either through Shared Services with Doka or a dedicated finance team.
The Head of Controlling Region Latin America is a senior finance professional responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Mexican entity and providing leadership across all Latin American countries.
This role covers financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, customer credit management, and internal controls throughout the region. The Head of Controlling Region Latin America plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, delivering strategic insights to support business growth, optimizing costs, and driving overall financial performance.
The position holds full accountability for controlling and financial management across the Latin American region, working in close with the Regional Director, Country Managers, and cross-functional teams. Close collaboration with finance, operations, and sales is essential to effectively manage business performance, project costs, and margins.
The Head of Controlling Region Latin America reports disciplinarily to the Regional Director, Latin America, and functionally to the Vice President of Global Sales Controlling.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) & Performance:
- Lead, manage, and review the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including Gross Margin (GM), intercompany margins, cost controls, and stock levels to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure accurate project costing and implement effective pricing strategies to maintain and enhance profitability.
- Oversee cost allocation processes and ensure transparent and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare, review, and present timely and accurate financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Credit Evaluation & Collection Efficiency
- Establish and enforce credit policies and risk segmentation to safeguard cash flow and enable growth.
- Lead the design and execution of credit evaluation and collection strategies across regions.
- Optimize processes through ERP systems, Power BI dashboards, automation, and or AI-driven insights.
- Drive data-based decision-making for AR forecasting, overdue management, and customer risk profiling.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster close collaboration with the shared services finance team to ensure alignment and consistency in reporting and processes.
