Company dedicated to the **manufacturing of bolts for internal combustion engines**, with more than **15 years of experience in the Mexican market**, is looking for a:
**Junior Buyer**
Support the purchasing process of materials, components, and services related to **metal-mechanical production** for the **automotive sector**, ensuring compliance with the company’s **quality, cost, and delivery standards**.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in **Industrial Engineering, International Business, Business Administration, or related field**:
- **Fluent English (mandatory)**:
- **3 to 5 years of experience leading work teams**:
- Experience purchasing **indirect materials and services** such as facilities, machined components, cutting tools, industrial spare parts, packaging materials, PPE, abrasives, and lubricants
- Knowledge of **metal-mechanical processes** (machining, stamping, welding, heat treatment, grinding)
- ERP management experience
- Basic knowledge of **IATF 16949** and **ISO 9001**:
- Proficient in **Excel**
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Request quotations and prepare **price, quality, and delivery time comparisons**:
- Generate **purchase orders** in the ERP system
- **Follow up** on deliveries and confirm material reception




- Support **supplier evaluation and development**:
- Maintain **constant communication** to ensure deadlines and specifications are met
- Manage **supplier issues** (delays, returns, quality rejections)
- Update **supplier databases and price lists**:
- Monitor **inventory levels** and assist in **supply planning**:
- Comply with **purchasing procedures** and internal audits (IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
- Identify **more efficient or competitive sourcing alternatives**:
- Support **basic negotiations** under the supervision of the Senior Buyer
