Our client, a medical device manufacturing company with U.S. corporate headquarters, is seeking a Bilingual Process Safety Engineer to join their team.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s in Chemical or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in process safety management
- Knowledge of NOM-028-STPS and international safety standards
- Experience in chemical handling and sterilization in classified areas
- Proven track record in new plant start-ups with global process implementation
- Experience in manufacturing industry environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure compliance with NOM-028 and corporate safety programs
- Lead hazard analyses and risk assessments for chemical processes
- Oversee sterilization procedures in controlled environments
- Collaborate with integral teams during plant commissioning
- Train staff on safe chemical handling and emergency response
