Are you an experienced chemical professional passionate about bridging R&D; concepts with full-scale manufacturing? We are seeking a self-motivated, autonomous Senior Process Chemist to provide hands-on technical support for both commercialized products and new product innovations.

In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment, managing projects independently, navigating ambiguity, and driving cross-functional collaboration across Quality, Operations, and R&D; teams.

Technical Focus Areas:

- UV-curable inks & coatings and flexographic printing processes
- Direct thermal receptive coatings
- Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives (PSA)
- Sensing-capable label technologies and related material chemistry

Key Responsibilities

- Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting: Partner with Plant Quality to evaluate material defects, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and escalation complex technical issues to R&D; when necessary.
- Process Optimization & Quality Support: Provide continuous technical support to manufacturing processes to resolve quality issues, enhance product yields, and optimize costs.
- R&D; Collaboration & DOE:



Work alongside R&D; teams to design experiments (DOE) and execute plant trials that support new product introductions (NPI) and process improvements.
- Data-Driven Material Insights: Develop a deep understanding of process capabilities, material limits, and structure-property relationships to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Create technical procedures for end-of-line quality testing and maintain precise documentation of all technical and experimental activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial product or process development.
- Specialized expertise in UV-curable ink chemistry and flexographic printing processes.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Valid U.S. Visa for international travel/collaboration.
- High accountability, passion for learning emerging technologies, strong cross-functional communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
