Job Description
Bookkeeper.com is a progressive organization with a staff of highly trained individuals who have many years of experience in their fields. We currently have a position available for a full-time Payroll Specialist within our company. As a member of our team, you must have the ability to work efficiently in our fast-paced environment. You should bring relevant experience, strong self-motivation, a keen sense of urgency, and a collaborative team mindset.
Job responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process live payrolls
- Review and distribute Quarterly payroll tax returns
- Review and distribute annual W-2’s
- Provide all documents required based on our client’s needs
- Consult with clients on payroll-related matters
- Prepare payroll audits & census reports
- Research and resolving payroll tax notices
- Register clients for state tax accounts
- Process garnishments, retirement contributions, and other benefit-related payments
Job Requirements
Requirements for the Payroll Specialist are as follows:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- At least 2 years of payroll experience (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with ADP systems (preferred)
