- managing the dispersal and distribution of materials for production; maintaining labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule.
- reviewing the departmental operating procedures, ensuring timely completion of work orders in line with department procedures, removing obstacles, and streamlining operational efficiency.
- performing audits periodically, maintaining the production activity throughout the particular shift, and enforcing the plant procedures and policies.
- monitoring the safety initiatives, monthly training, mock drills,



and ensuring compliance with the occupational safety and health administration (osha) guidelines.
