Jonathan Engineered Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

In this role, you will support engineering projects for EMCOR in Rochester, Minnesota, USA , collaborating with an international team to develop innovative, high-quality electrical enclosures and 19" server rack solutions for leading technology companies.

Responsibilities

- Design custom sheet metal electrical enclosures and 19" server racks using Creo Parametric .
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales teams in both Mexico and the United States.
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and continuous product improvements.
- Ensure designs meet customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and quality standards.
- Participate in engineering reviews and provide technical support throughout the product development process.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.




- Proven proficiency with Creo Parametric is required.
- Experience designing sheet metal products and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Ability and willingness to travel to Rochester, Minnesota, approximately one to two times per year.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Windchill or other PDM systems.
- Experience designing server racks, electrical enclosures, or other industrial products.
- Packaging design experience is a plus.
