we’re hiring: business development manager – mexico

are you a market research or consumer insights sales professional who knows the mexican market and has a proven track record of winning new business?

we’re looking for a business development manager – mexico to join nextminder , an ai-powered market simulation company transforming how consumer-facing businesses test pricing, product launches, positioning, and other commercial decisions.

this is a high-impact, first commercial hire in mexico , working directly with the ceo and helping shape the company’s go-to-market strategy.

what you’ll be doing:

• build and execute nextminder’s commercial strategy for mexico

• drive new business acquisition and build a qualified pipeline

• re-engage former market research and consulting clients

• own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract signature

• build relationships with senior leaders across consumer insights, marketing, strategy, innovation, and category management

• sell into major consumer-facing companies across cpg/fmcg, retail, financial services, telecom, and more

• represent the company at client meetings and industry events

• help establish sales benchmarks and shape the mexico gtm strategy

• work closely with the ceo on strategic opportunities

what we're looking for:

✔️ 5–10 years of consultative sales / business development experience





✔️ market research or consumer insights industry experience

✔️ experience with companies such as nielsen, nielseniq, kantar, ipsos, gfk, circana, or similar

✔️ proven success personally winning new accounts

✔️ strong hunter mentality — this is not an account-management-only role

✔️ established network of enterprise decision-makers in mexico

✔️ experience selling to c-suite and senior stakeholders

✔️ full-cycle sales experience

✔️ fluent spanish + advanced professional english

✔️ comfortable operating autonomously as the first dedicated commercial hire in mexico

⭐ experience selling saas, ai, analytics, data platforms, or technology-enabled research solutions is a major plus.

location: mexico — remote, with occasional client meetings
