about the role

key responsibilities
- lead and mentor a team of java developers.
- design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level applications.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- ensure compliance with hsbc’s security and quality standards.
- drive best practices in coding, architecture, and agile methodologies.
✅ requirements
- bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in java development,
with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- strong expertise in spring, microservices, and rest apis.
- experience with cloud platforms (aws, azure, or gcp).
- excellent communication skills in english (written and spoken).
- proven leadership, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
- must have a clean credit bureau record .
compensation & benefits
- salary range: mxn 80,000 – 100,000 per month (based on skills and experience).
- hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in toluca, 2 days remote.
