key responsibilities
- prepare daily and weekly cash, ap, and general journal entries
- perform balance sheet and cash reconciliations
- prepare standard accruals, expense reclass entries, and other month-end close journal entries
- conduct weekly reconciliations to support internal reporting needs
- collaborate cross-functionally with ap and treasury teams on refunds, checks, and related items
- proactively identify process improvements and automation opportunities within existing workflows and workbooks
requirements
- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on journal entries and reconciliations
- strong us gaap knowledge
- advanced excel and google sheets skills — comfortable working with large datasets
- experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- strong english communication skills (c1 level minimum)
- self-starter with process improvement mindset
