COMMODITY BUYER

MISSION:

Provide to our internal costumer an efficient supplier base with dynamic and efficient procurement, achieving the internal company targets through an efficient supply chain management.

MAIN TASKS:
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress checking the quality of service provided and close deals with optimal terms
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers and new ones,



and building and maintaining good relationships with them
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Development or other related to supply chain, purchasing.
- Must have atl least 3 years professional experience, specifically related to the automotive industry.
- Experience in direct material purchasing, preferebly plastics.
- Conversational English
- Location: Antolin Toluca
- Availability to travel
