The idóneo candidate combines a strong accounting foundation with hands-on financial management experience—including cash flow visibility, working capital analysis, and FP&A; support—along with strong leadership skills and the executive presence to confidently partner with CFOs, founders, and clients.We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.Key Responsibilities- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting by the 5th business day of each month.- Support cash flow visibility and working capital analysis while partnering with CFOs on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.- Build trusted relationships with clients, providing financial insights that support business decision-making.- Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and technology to improve accounting and financial reporting processes.- Design,



standardize, and continuously improve accounting processes, internal controls, and workflows across multiple clients.- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.- Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and scalable financial processes.- Maintain proactive communication with clients, CFOs, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service and collaboration.Requirements- 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Controllership roles.- Strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record in financial management.- Strong knowledge of month-end close, financial reporting, FP&A;, and US GAAP.- Experience reporting directly to CFOs or CEOs.- Experience with inventory accounting, ideally within manufacturing, CPG, or e-commerce environments.- Experience building or improving accounting processes in fast-paced, high-growth companies.- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills, with the confidence to interact with executive stakeholders.- Passion for technology, AI, and automation, with a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.Nice to Have- CPA license- Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.- Experience with QuickBooks Online or other cloud-based ERP systems.- Experience working with multiple entities or client portfolios.- Background in fintech or other high-growth industries.
