The Robot Automation Engineer will work on the development of automation projects assigned by the Supervisor.
This engineer will train the Robot Technicians in the new equipment that is being developed for their best performance, he will also train the new Technicians who enter the Robots Area.
It will also identify new applications of Robotics or Automatic Processes to simplify current processes.
Responsibilities:
Partner with cross-functional teams to define sensor, computing, network, and redundancy requirements.
Work on automation projects,
assigned by the person in charge of the Area.
Identify new Automation applications to simplify current processes.
Train robot technicians, set up and test robot automation cell.
Record and report any behavioral or hardware issues arising from checks or tests.
Document robotics test procedures and results.
Prepare procedural documents.
Design of documents or results of operational tests.
Work on the list of parts or components of each machine that is in operation.
to maintain an inventory of maximum and minimum required.
Develop, manufacture and order field support equipment.
Contact the person in charge of the Area to facilitate the adjustment of the robot or the changes that need to be made.
Edit and track robot programming.
Assembly of prototypes and tests of new robots
