About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS), with a focus on Kubernetes (EKS) and GitOps practices, along with the supporting tooling across our engineering teams. This role ensures security, scalability, and maintainability of our cloud platforms. The idóneo candidate will enable development teams to deliver high-quality software through cloud-native solutions and automation. This role requires a strong ownership mindset — you will take full ownership of the systems you manage, proactively identifying and driving improvements. Strong collaboration and communication within the team is essential — you will work closely with your peers to align on technical decisions, share knowledge, and deliver as a team.
What You Will Own
- Cloud Infrastructure & AWS: Build, deploy,
and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure — including serverless components — with a focus on security, scalability, and maintainability; proactively identify improvement opportunities and establish guardrails that enable engineering teams to deliver infrastructure consistently and safely.
- Kubernetes Platform (EKS): Manage EKS cluster provisioning via Crossplane, lifecycle management, and day-2 operations including autoscaling, add-on management, and upgrade strategies; establish operational standards for cluster reliability across multiple environments.
- GitOps & Continuous Delivery: Maintain the GitOps operating model using Argo CD as the delivery platform; define multi-environment promotion strategies and deployment guardrails; build and maintain CI pipelines using GitHub Actions for building, linting, testing, and DevSecOps integration.
- Infrastructure as Code: Contribute to the Crossplane strategy including composition design, XRD development, and multi-environment patterns;
