About This Team
The EMEA + NAM Trade team plays a critical role in ensuring the compliant and timely import of shipments to lululemon’s distribution centers, retail stores, and guests. Beyond preparing shipping documentation, the team manages relationships with all Customs brokers and serves as the subject matter expert in trade operations,
including being the business partner for our trade operations technology initiatives. In addition to supporting and overseeing export-import operations, the team collaborates closely with our general fulfillment partners as well as within the broader organization to proactively identify and mitigate trade risks. We also work in partnership with the Global Trade Compliance team to uphold and advance lululemon’s trade compliance standards across all markets.
A day in the life
Build and manage relationships with customs brokers and service providers to ensure performance against KPIs;
Make sure brokers submit correct entry and documents on time;
Create and maintain brokers SOPs.
Handle exception cases from brokers.
Facilitate and monitor other government agencies permit applications by brokers.
Follow up and solve missing declaration cases by brokers (Mexico).
Monitor import compliance and spending; formalize and execute broker entry aud
