This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
What You’ll Bring
A graduate degree in the hard sciences with advanced coursework in statistics or similar areas
3+ years of professional analytical modeling experience, solving problems relevant to the problems we solve at TransUnion
Expert proficiency with one or more statistical programming languages such as R or SAS; additional experience writing intermediate SQL queries for data extraction preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills: ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, strong presentation skills with comfort presenting to executive audiences
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem solving skills
Strong time and project management skills with the ability to oversee and manage project teams to meet project deliverables inclusive of delegating work, setting clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, and managing customer expectations
Direct and effective experience managing junior analytical professionals preferred You do not let obstacles hinder you; rather, you find innovative approaches to resolve, overcome or otherwise avoid those obstacles.
You are a senior leader and can drive complex projects with minimal supervision.
