GENERAL SUMMARY (One – two sentence summary)

To coordinate the production operation while providing motivation to Team members that focus on Safety, Quality, efficiency, and cost reductions using the TQPS principles of NASG. Oversees the day-to-day operations, training, and development of Associates. Responsible for appraisal & discipline of work team members. Responsible for providing direction to ensure the Team Leaders are meeting their criteria and ensuring application of policies & procedures. Communicating with Team members, Peers, Management, and Customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Outline format w/ action verbs)

Ensure compliance with Policies and Practices
Ensure 5S standards are maintainer-Daily verification of items on 5S checklist
Ensure & enforce the use of Safety Blocks
Follow the lockout/tagout procedure




Keep all safety curtains/guards in place during operation
Review & submit suggestions to improve the Safety Environment in assigned areas
Audit part quality throughout the shift
Assist associate on first/last off part quality at changeover
Verify Final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving press area for quality Verfiy that containment pans are being used as specified for batch quantities.
Ensure proper containment procedures are followed when poor quality is detected
Arrange manpower as needed to meet production requirements
Confirm attendance of Team members and report out to the Group Leader
