Description
As a Sr HSE Engineer focus on Facilities here at Honeywell, you will hold a senior-level role and maintain a strong focus on managing and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects of an organization's physical facilities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, safety, and sustainability of facilities while adhering to industry standards and regulations. You will report directly to our Sr. HSE Manager and you’ll work out of our Mexicali location on a On site work schedule.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are operating effectively and efficiently, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and customers. Your expertise in facilities management will not only enhance the productivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for facilities maintenance, aligning them with the organization's goals and objectives.

oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards
- Manage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed, and ensuring the organization's assets are well-maintained
- Ensure that all facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, manage permits and certifications, and stay informed about industry standards
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with established service levels
- Implement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
