Create assembly drawings dimensioning and notes, validating customer assembly layouts to attain requirements according to standards
Create simplified models without internal details in universal format to be sent to customer
Drafting work necessary for all 2D or 3D systems
Complete 3D models based on the FDS programmed CS system, submitting them without errors
Complete outline, quote, and ADCI Fisher First assembly drawings as pertain
Complete nuclear drawings making sure they fulfill the nuclear drafting and quality standards
Document all the changes for every drawing revision
Organize all information including requirements, revisions, change request, mistakes, etc. to provide a fast answer for customer inquiries
Develop portions of project schedules
Assure safety related requirements called out by the stakeholders
Collaboration and Communication
Maintain continuous and fluent communication across multidisciplinary teams and with customers in Mexico and USA
Provide continuous update of nuclear drawings to Impact partners and Project Managers
Work with or expedite internal stakeholders to resolve drawing related issues
Mentor new hires and/or co-ops
Who You Are:
You bring a solid understanding of Computer-Aided Drafting systems, with experience working in both 2D and 3D environments. You have strong mechanical and technical aptitude, paired with excellent visualization skills that allow you to translate complex concepts into accurate and meaningful designs.
You are familiar with internal and industry standards relevant to your role and apply them consistently to ensure high‑quality output. Your ability to interpret diagrams and identify potential issues before drawings are released is one of your key strengths, helping maintain precision and prevent costly errors.
