Monitors material inventory in the plant, in the warehouse, and by critical suppliers.Generates forecasts and manages the replenishment planning for parts and materials; ensures specified service levels are realized.

Job Summary

The Sr. Materials Planner/Scheduler at El Carmen Manufacturing Facility will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the flow of materials through the production process to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time delivery of manufactured goods.



This role involves close collaboration with various departments to maintain efficient and cost-effective operations.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop and execute detailed materials plans and production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
* Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to identify potential shortages or excesses and take corrective action.
* Generate and manage purchase requisitions for materials, ensuring timely procurement and adherence to quality standards.
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
* Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to optimize material flow, resolve production constraints, and implement process improvements.
* Analyze material requirements planning (MRP) data and adjust plans as needed to meet changing demands.
* Track and report on key materials planning
