Are you an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in high-performance, real-time environments?

We're partnering with an innovative technology business that's investing heavily in its engineering capability as it continues to scale. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative team developing highly available, cloud-native platforms that process large volumes of real-time data.

This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging systems where performance, scalability and reliability are critical. You'll have the chance to influence architecture,



contribute to technical decision-making and work alongside talented engineers in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

You'll play a key role in designing and developing modern backend systems that process live data, integrate with external platforms and support business-critical applications.

Responsibilities Include

Designing and developing scalable backend services using Python and Java
Building cloud-native, event-driven applications
Developing integrations with third-party platforms and APIs
Designing and optimising real-time data processing pipelines
Improving application performance, resilience and scalability
Working closely with technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
Contributing to infrastructure, deployment and continuous improvement initiatives
