The Fire & Security Lead is a specialist person responsible for managing and
coordinating all fire safety and security operations within the facility. This
role ensure compliance with legal regulations, corporate standards and best
practices in fire prevention, emergency preparedness and response, physical
security, investigations.
The fire & security lead provides leadership to the security team and
collaborates with cross-functional departments to foster a safe and secure
environment for people, assets and operations.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Oversee inspection, testing and maintenance of fire detection and suppression
systems. (sprinklers, alarms,
special suppression agent, gaseous agents, fire
extinguishers, fire pumps)
* Ensure compliance with local and international fire codes (NFPA, NOM,
Stellantis fire standards)
* Develop and maintain fire safety plans, evacuation procedures, emergency
preparedness, emergency response, Civil Protection annual plan, Incidence
management team responsibilities and exercises.
* Lead fire risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
* Coordinate fire drills and emergency response for staff and emergency
brigades
* Manage emergency contacts and coordination with local authorities
* Manage contracts and performance of external fire service providers.
* Supervise daily operations of security personnel and ensure adherence to the
SOP’s
* Implement and monitor access control systems, CCTV, intrusion response and
perimeter protection measures.
* Conduct security audits, patrols and incident investigations
