What You'll Do
Transportation Management: Drive performance with carriers and partners by establishing, monitoring, and following up on key metrics.
Strategic Planning: Conduct joint planning with carriers to forecast short- and long-term transportation needs and mitigate capacity constraints.
Trade Compliance: Manage import/export documentation and processes, including obtaining rapid clearances and partnering with the CA-US-MX GTC team to identify improvement opportunities.
Project Leadership: Plan, organize, and control projects to ensure efficient resource utilization, accurate cost/time estimation, and successful objective achievement.
Collaborator Engagement: Conduct regular project reviews and maintain open, constructive communication with project teams, sponsors, and clients.
Who You'll Work With
You will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including the CA-US-MX General Trade Compliance (GTC) group, as well as external logistics partners, carriers, and shippers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Our minimum requirements for this role
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
3-5 years of direct experience in transportation or logistics operations.
Professional fluency in English (written and verbal).
Ability to work on-site in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Flexibility to work off-hours when required to support operational needs.
Desired Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international transportation modes and safety requirements.
Proven experience in carrier evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring.
