Responsibilities
Monitor and work incoming support tickets (ServiceNow), ensuring necessary IT systems are operating as expected and end user experience is optimal
Manage VMware, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and Microsoft Windows systems in a production data environment.
Monitoring and reporting of operating system and application performance.
Create and maintain necessary documentation on systems and processes.
Maintaining/repairing infrastructure components under IT control in concert with the appropriate vendors to provide 100% availability of service.
Recommending and implementing changes supported by evidence collected from thorough performance analysis.
Implement automation for repetitive tasks where possible.
Work as an effective member of the general IT team with minimal supervision.
Complete changes and maintenance as required.

Experience with an enterprise support ticketing system, ServiceNow experience a plus




Ability to exercise good judgment in determining work and problem resolution priorities and approaches
Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation software and procedures
Experience managing Windows and Linux servers in a production data center environment
Understanding of networking technologies and its impact on servers and automated manufacturing
Project management capabilities
Ability to communicate clearly to understand and disseminate project requirements

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years of Microsoft Windows and/or Linux system administration including Windows Server versions since 2012
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and SQL Server
Experience with data backup, data retention, and disaster recovery exercises
Experience with VMWare installation and maintenance
Experience in validated medical devices or FDA regulated operation
