Molex is seeking an experienced ESD SME to lead and sustain our Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Control Program at our Guadalajara facility. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to protect product quality and reliability, ensure compliance with industry standards, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and engineering processes.

Our Team

You will join a collaborative team that works closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, R&D;, and Suppliers to ensure robust ESD controls throughout the product lifecycle. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and product reliability.

What You Will Do

Lead, implement, and maintain the site ESD Control Program in alignment with ANSI/ESD S20.20, IEC 61340-5-1, and corporate requirements.
Conduct periodic ESD audits of manufacturing areas, workstations, personnel, and material handling processes.
Develop corrective and preventive action plans and monitor effectiveness through closure.




Lead investigations related to ESD-related failures, field returns, scrap, or process escapes.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations for product design reviews, PCB layout considerations, material selection, and manufacturing process changes.
Develop and deliver ESD training programs for manufacturing, engineering, and supplier personnel.
Manage qualification, verification, calibration coordination, and maintenance of ESD monitoring and test equipment.
Create, maintain, and improve ESD procedures, work instructions, technical documentation, and control plans.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in quality, safety, and operational performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Physics, or related technical
