**About our client**
Our client—a leading energy and infrastructure fund—is expanding its operations and seeks an Investment Associate to join its team in Mexico City. You will have a chance to work alongside senior team members in analyzing investment opportunities in the energy and infrastructure sector in Mexico. Our client seeks a hands-on individual to play an active role in all aspects of the transaction, from origination through to execution and asset management. The position is based in Mexico City
**What the job involves**
- Play an active role in deal sourcing/origination of potential investments in the energy and infrastructure sectors in Mexico.
- Support in the structuring and financing of the transactions.
- Oversee analysis and due diligence of potential investment opportunities.
- Play an active role in portfolio/asset management, monitoring financial, commercial, operating and ESG factors.
- Update the financial models of the fund.




- Work closely with senior team members on all issues related to deal closing.
- Control of the asset management debt dashboard that incorporates all the information about the fund’s debts.
- Prepare regular investment, valuation and profitability reports for senior management and investors.
- Support capital raising initiatives.
**Who we are looking for**
- Solid years of experience in investment banking, private equity or strategic management consulting; knowledge of the energy and infrastructure sectors (power generation, oil & gas, transportation, water, etc.) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, engineering, actuary sciences or similar field, Master's degree a plus.
- Superior analytical skills
- Hands-on and energetic team player
- Advanced level of English
