**Responsibilities**
- Lead a group of product developers across various GoldenGate product domains, working closely with other GoldenGate product development managers
- Assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives
- Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met
- Teamwork across various geographically dispersed product development teams
- Oversight of customer issues during US/Mexico business hours
**Desired Skills and Experience**
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
- 10 or more years of software engineering or related experience
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, detailed understanding of product development
- Strong Java and C++ programming skills
- Domain expertise in distributed systems and databases, replication is a plus
- Exposure to multiple operating systems (mínimally Linux and Windows) Experience managing and leading cross-functional
