We are seeking a Senior Security Engineering professional to join our Security Operations practice and take end-to-end ownership of our Google Security Operations platform (SIEM and SOAR)—the technical backbone of Ciberia's Managed Detection and Response (MDR)



service. In this role, your objective is twofold: engineering high-fidelity detection that catches critical threats, and automating response where safe so analyst attention remains focused on complex human judgment calls.

What you will be doing:

Design and build log ingestion at scale, including custom parsers for the difficult and non-standard sources, so that the telemetry underpinning every detection is complete and trustworthy.
Write, test and tune detection logic in YARA-L, and keep that logic evolving as adversary behaviour does rather than letting it calcify.
Automate incident response through SOAR playbooks that reduce mean time to respond without quietly reducing rigour along the way.
Run proactive threat hunts and forensic investigations, using Google Threat Intelligence to direct where the effort goes.
