JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is adecuado for a senior professional with 5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance who is looking to continue developing their career in a dynamic operational environment.

As a Sr. Staff Accountant, you will support accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close processes and cost and inventory accounting activities while working closely with ERP systems, financial documentation, and cross-functional teams. This position offers hands-on exposure to operational accounting processes and opportunities to strengthen technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned growers, including costs, payments, advances, pick and pack charges, and other agro-inputs.
Process grower liquidations (preliminary and final), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established terms.
Track, reconcile, and monitor packaging and hard goods inventory, coordinating with suppliers, operations, and internal stakeholders.
Perform purchase order and invoice matching, process credit memos,



and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
Monitor exchange rates and ensure accurate posting of monetary requests and transfers.
Prepare and maintain electronic financial records and support internal and external audits as required.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of information for decision-making.
Support the Controller and Grower Accounting Manager with financial analysis, reporting, special projects, and ad-hoc requests.
Collaborate with team members across departments and provide backup support for other accounting functions when needed.
Maintain effective communication and coordination with the US team to support operational alignment.
